After Bayern Munich were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester City on Wednesday, midfielder Ryan Gravenberh was asked about Liverpool’s interest in his services and a potential move to Merseyside this summer, but he understandably reasons declined to comment.
Liverpool’s interest in Gravenberh is reported to have been around for a long time; it’s not just the result of their decision to pull out of the race for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. However, the situation with the 20-year-old Dutch international looks very complicated. Having moved to Bayern from Ajax last summer, he is not playing as much as he would like. But for now, according to Fabrizio Romano, he remains part of the plans of the Bavarians, as well as the plans of head coach Thomas Tuchel.
For now, the Bundesliga champions are refusing to even discuss a sale, despite the fact that Liverpool have contacted Gravenberch’s representatives and the player himself is open to the idea of a transfer in order to get playing time on a more regular basis.

How previously reportedGravenbergh’s proposed move from the Allianz Arena seems unlikely at this stage, and it would take Bayern and Tuchel to reconsider for it to be a real possibility.
