Many Arab football stars and a group of international clubs have expressed solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that struck Morocco last Friday night, which left hundreds of people dead and injured.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 7.0 Regter earthquake that struck Morocco late Friday was the strongest since 1900.
According to the Moroccan Ministry of Interior, as of 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, the death toll from the earthquake had risen to 820 people and 672 people were injured, including 205 seriously injured.
Arab football stars and some international clubs rushed to express solidarity with the victims of the Moroccan earthquake.
