According to a recent report by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are poised to sell Scott McTominay during the summer transfer window.
Ever since rising through the ranks as a youngster, Scott McTominay has been an important piece of the puzzle for Manchester United. He started off with a really bright first team performance, but after serving alongside Fred for so long in the middle of the park, the fans got a little mad at him.
However, that doesn’t mean the 26-year-old isn’t in high demand.
Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing him and the Magpies clearly see some potential in the Scot.
The report appears to indicate that United would be willing to sell if the price is right, and Erik ten Hag is likely looking to bring in another midfielder to take his place.
McTominay is still a quality Premier League player, but perhaps not at the level that many had hoped for.
