Ferdinand Urges Manchester United Star to Consider Saudi Arabia Move, to Resolve Coach Ten Hag Crisis

Former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand advised his compatriot and current United star Jadon Sancho to join the Saudi League instead of spending the season on the bench.

Sancho found himself in a serious crisis after Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag accused him of not being serious in training ahead of Arsenal’s 1-3 Premier League match on Sunday, which led to his exclusion from the match.

The England international did not remain silent in the face of this allegation and issued a statement in which he defended himself and called on everyone not to believe the statements of the Dutch manager, and also accused him of injustice, adding: “I think there are other reasons. with my exception. I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time, I don’t think that’s fair.”

Ferdinand commented on this crisis during his ‘podcast’ saying, “Sancho can’t make a statement like that without being sure he trained well. This is the difference. Sancho can see that he has trained well, but the coach’s standards may be different.”

He added: “There are only two ways to end this crisis. The first is for the player to leave for Saudi Arabia, where the transfer market is still open there, and the second is to stay on the bench until the end of the season.”

It is noteworthy that the summer transfer period in the Saudi League this season will end on September 7, while in most European leagues it closed last Friday.
