Feb 4: Premier League Saturday accumulator – 9/1

0

With the Premier League returning this weekend, we have a very tight schedule. So, for those of you who want to post a Saturday account, we’ve found three interesting gadgets to look out for.

Saturday 4 February

BST 12:30 Everton v Arsenal

While Arsenal may have seen their FA Cup adventure come to an abrupt end at Etihad last weekend, the Gunners are enjoying what has become a historic north London campaign. Just continuing an outstanding storm in the Premier League this season, Mikel Arteta’s youths find themselves at the top of the table with a five-point buffer. After taking pole position and claiming their first home crown since 2004, Saturday’s guests only continue to receive applause. Having suffered just one defeat in the Premier League in early February, Arsenal also made it to the knockout stages of this year’s Europa League. With the mood running red hot in Arteta’s young camp, the Gunners should sniff out a chance to establish another title marker here. Last seen in the top flight after claiming a 3-2 win over Manchester United last, the north London giants will be looking to cash in on an Everton side that is living through a fairly public Premier League nightmare. While Saturday’s hosts may have named former Burnley boss Sean Dyche earlier in the week, the Blues are seen as top contenders for relegation in 2023. Everton have lost each of their last four matches in a row. Having not had a single home win to their credit since October, we are backing a fairly routine away win.

Tip: Arsenal win and under 4.5 goals at 8/11

15:00 Brighton vs Bournemouth

While Brighton may have been disappointed to see Graham Potter move to Chelsea back in September, the Seagulls are enjoying a great start to life under Roberto De Zerbi. They last put in another stellar performance, pulling out a final 2-1 victory over Liverpool while on FA Cup duty. The hosts of Saturday are on a wave of momentum. Now firmly set on reaching the famous European finish in 2023, the former Sassuolo boss has only seen his team continue to impress after returning from the World Cup break. Undefeated in each of their last five matches in a row across all formats, Brighton also has one attacking mascot who enjoys the purple spot. After beating Liverpool last weekend, 25-year-old sensation Kaoru Mitoma has scored in four of her last five meetings against Premier League rivals. With his shares at a red-hot high, Meatoma should enjoy Bournemouth’s arrival on Saturday afternoon. Although the Cherries were last seen drawing 1-1 at home against Nottingham Forest, this does not reflect the deplorable form. In fact, along with last month’s FA Cup elimination after a 4-2 defeat at the hands of champion club Burnley, Gary O’Neill’s side are in the midst of a seven-match unbeaten streak. In addition, it should also be emphasized that the participants in the relegation from the Premier League scored only one point in their previous six matches.

Tip: Kaworu Mitoma To Score Anytime @ 7/4

17:30 Newcastle – West Ham

Having booked their place in the EFL Cup final this season after beating Southampton 3-1 on aggregate in the middle of the week, Newcastle are enjoying the famous purple spot in the North East. While Eddie Howe’s team may have just been battling to expand their Premier League status last season, the former Bournemouth boss has now found his team on pole position and in contention for a top four finish. While continuing to receive plaudits from across England on both sides of the World Cup break, the Magpies have only lost one Premier League competition so far. Opening February with the mood around St James’ Park at its highest in recent memory, Newcastle will be looking to set another marker here. Having gained a fearsome reputation for their solid backhanding, it should be noted that Howe’s team landed just 11 great shots this season. Similarly, having not lost on home soil since April, Saturday’s hosts should feel a real chance here. While the Hammers may have extended their FA Cup adventure earlier in the week with a 2-0 win away at League One Derby, David Moyes’ side are at the center of a relegation battle. With just one Premier League win away from the London stadium, the former Manchester United boss will know his side will face a huge test this weekend. Two teams fighting at opposite ends of the table, we’re backing what could be a nice home win.

Tip: Newcastle win and over 1.5 goals at 6/5
