    The statement added: “The Board of Directors of FC Barcelona announces that the club ended the financial year (2022-2023) with a net profit of 304 million euros after tax, a higher result than that approved in last season’s budget “

    For the season (2022-2023), in total, FC Barcelona achieved an operating income of 1.259 million euros, while operating expenses increased to 1.165 million euros.

    The statement continued: “These results were achieved in a season that will go down in history thanks to the record operating performance that was recorded in the trading and facilities management areas. The Club has improved in every area of ​​its performance and in every one.” it recorded higher figures than planned. On a commercial level, with revenues of 351 million euros (+43% compared to the previous year), the club achieved historic levels of activity. The sponsorship sector has almost reached 200 million euros, and sales of goods in stores in Barcelona amounted to 100 million euros, which is an absolute record for this type of business.”

    The statement continued: “The season (2022-23) saw Barcelona secure a record number of new sponsorship deals in a single season, valued at €97.6 million, with the addition of 20 new sponsors, including or extending contracts with others.”

    The Catalan team said: “The Board of Directors would like to confirm that Spotify Camp Nou was the stadium with the highest average spectator attendance in Europe according to the UEFA European Club Talent and Competition Stage report during the season (2022-2023) .

    Barcelona concluded in a statement: “With regard to the budget for the season (2023-2024), the club expects revenues of €859 million and a profit before tax of €11 million as part of the continuity plan approved by the Board of Directors.
