    FA declines to sanction Guardiola for vacation before Liverpool match

    According to press reports, the English Football Association was not about to impose a fine on Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, after his “famous” celebration in front of the Liverpool players.

    Manchester City beat guest Liverpool 4-1 in a match that brought them together on matchday 29 of the Premier League.

    The Liverpool Echo newspaper said Guardiola would not be penalized by the FA after celebrating in front of the Liverpool players after his team equalized against the Reds in the first half.

    And the newspaper added that Guardiola said in post-match press statements that he regrets the holiday, following his bullying of Kostas Tsimikas after the equalizer against Liverpool.

    Manchester City condemned the events following the 4-1 win against Liverpool in the English Premier League and the attack on Jurgen Klopp in an official statement.

    Manchester City are in first place in the English Premier League with 64 points, while Liverpool are in sixth place with 42 points.
