Everton fail loan bid for Olivier Giroud

Everton wanted to sign Olivier Giroud of AC Milan in the January transfer window. Time. The report claims the Premier League club made an offer to reigning Serie A champions AC Milan on the January transfer deadline day. However, the Italian and European champions refused.

Former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Giroud was not interested in a move from Milan to Everton on the last day of the January transfer window. In the summer of 2023, the Toffees were poised to make a £7m loan deal permanent if they remained in the Premier League.

Everton are really struggling in the Premier League right now and could be relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. As for AC Milan, while it’s unlikely they’ll be able to defend the Serie A title they won last season, the Rossoneri are very much in contention for a place in the top four.
