The FA said in an official statement: “In accordance with the decision made by the club leaders before the start of the season, in all matches on the last day of the 2022/23 season, players will kneel before the start of the season. ”
“This action aims to highlight the unity of the players against all forms of racism in football, as well as the wider community using their platform to push for change,” he added.
And he continued: “Before matches, a video explaining the reason for the players kneeling will be played on large screens, and during matches, English Premier League messages will be displayed on the surrounding glowing panels (no racism here). )”.
