    Alan Hutton, a former Tottenham defender, has spoken out about the Reds’ stance on selling Mohamed Salah next summer to secure new deals.

    Alan Hutton said in statements, most notably to Football Insider: “I don’t think Liverpool would be willing to drop Mohamed Salah.”

    He added: “If Salah decides he wants a new challenge in his career, they will keep the ball in his side, but I really don’t see Liverpool pushing him out.”

    He continued: “Liverpool haven’t spent a lot of money compared to some other teams, but Klopp will know he needs to make some deals in the summer transfer window.”

    He explained: “Liverpool needs to improve if they want to continue to compete with the big teams. I think midfield is the priority at the moment.”
