Liverpool spent a lot of money on Dominik Soboszlaj this summer and it looks like the Hungarian midfielder has begun to justify the €70m price tag.
Soboshlai put in a decent, first-class performance as the Merseysiders emerged victorious from Saturday’s game against Bournemouth despite losing the last 30 minutes.
Bournemouth took an unexpected lead thanks to Antoine Semeño early in the match, with Luis Diaz equalizing in the 28th minute. Soboshlay earned a penalty, which Mohamed Salah turned from penalty to 2-1 advantage, and his shot in 62nd saw Diogo Jota set the final score.
The red card given to Alexis McAllister in the 58th minute was subsequently overturned on appeal.
