Ronaldo said, in part, in statements by Fabrizio Romano, an expert on player transfers, on his Twitter account: “The Saudi Arabian League is very competitive.”
He continued: “The Saudi Roshan League is not like the English Premier League. I’m not going to lie, but this league surprised me.”

He added: “Within 5, 6 or 7 years, if they continue with the current plan, the Saudi league will be the fourth or fifth in the world.”
Cristiano Ronaldo plays for Saudi team Al-Nasr, on a two and a half year contract, after joining him last summer on a free transfer deal after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.
Manchester United terminated the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the 2022 World Cup due to a Madeira rocket interview, during which he criticized the club’s management, as well as the current and former coaching staff.
