A Dutch court has sentenced an Eindhoven fan to two months in prison for storming the field and hitting a Sevilla goalkeeper during a Europa League match between the two teams.
A 20-year-old fan named Delano K. was found guilty of assaulting goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic and violating a ban on the field by the Dutch Football Association.

Dutch prosecutors said last month that the defendant had two previous convictions for football-related offenses and that he was under the influence of alcohol when he burst onto the pitch near the end of the Eindhoven-Sevilla match on February 23 and hit Dmitrovic.
The Sevilla goalkeeper was uninjured and had a skirmish with a hooligan before the security forces removed him from the field.
UEFA has taken disciplinary action against PSV following the incident and is likely to punish him.
