Confrontation between Iran and Russia at Azadi Stadium concludes with two penalty kicks

In the international friendly football match between the national teams of Iran and their Russian guest, held on Thursday evening in the capital Tehran, a positive draw prevailed.

Russian midfielder Anton Miranchuk put his country ahead with a penalty in the 28th minute of the first half.

Iranian striker Mahdi Taremi responded with an equalizer goal, which he also scored from a free kick, in the 47th minute of the meeting, which took place at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran.
