Chelsea are reportedly looking to sign Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović at the end of the season after the Blues’ worrisome campaign at the gate.
In 24 Premier League appearances, Chelsea only scored 23 goals, finishing 14th overall and the lowest finish of any team in the top 11.
With no real No. 9 and with the unlikely return of Romelu Lukaku from Inter loan next season, Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Vlahovic.
The 23-year-old, who came to Turin for a €70m fee in January 2022, cut short his first full season in Italy due to injury, scoring eight goals in 15 Serie A matches.
While Massimiliano Allegri’s team would likely prefer to stay with a tall frontman who has already scored 10 goals for Serbia in 19 matches, the club’s financial situation may force them to act.
