Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi catches Roma’s attention

    Roma are interested in signing Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic, reports Fishages. A report claims Italian club Roma are among the clubs interested in securing the services of Celtic and Japan striker Kyogo from defending Scottish Premier League champions Celtic in the January transfer window.

    Kyogo Furuhashi has been on Celtic’s roster since 2021 and has been playing superbly for the Hoops. The 28-year-old Japan striker has scored four goals and provided two assists in six Scottish Premiership matches this season. Kyogo scored 27 goals and provided two assists in 31 Scottish Premiership starts for the Hoops last season.

    Roma currently sit 14th in the Serie A table with five points from five matches, two points above the relegation zone and 10 points behind leaders Inter Milan. Meanwhile, Celtic currently sit top of the Scottish Premiership table with 16 points from six matches, two points behind second-placed St Mirren.
