Brazilian Vinicius charmingly woos Moroccan fans

Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior continued to flirt with Moroccan fans ahead of the upcoming international friendly between the Atlas Lions and the Samba Dancers tonight, Saturday, at the Tangier Stadium.

Yesterday, Friday, Vinicius wrote a “tweet” via his Twitter account in which he said, “I’ll see you Moroccans tomorrow,” prompting a big wave of interaction from Lions supporters.

Comments from the Moroccan public on Vinicius’ ‘tweet’ indicated that he would receive the same reception he received during last month’s World Cup competition in the ranks of Real Madrid, which crowned the title.

Vinicius has posted a series of “tweets” since his arrival in Morocco in which he expressed his great appreciation for Morocco, saying “I saw Morocco’s passion for football… The crowd that was with me and for my benefit was special… Thank you.”

Moroccan fans have supported the Real Madrid star in his fight against racism in the Spanish league.

Morocco coach Walid Rekraghi urged Atlas Lions fans not to cheer for the Brazilian players, especially when they sing the national anthem.

It is noteworthy that the Moroccan team became the first to officially reach the final of the African Cup of Nations, which will be held early next year, in Côte d’Ivoire, Ivory Coast, after the teams of South Africa and Liberia tied (2:2) Friday night.
