Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala suffered a thigh muscle tear during a training session, the German football champion said today, Wednesday.
Bayern’s medical staff diagnosed Musiala, 20, with a “muscle fiber in his left thigh” after he finished training on Wednesday.
Local media have reported that Musiala could miss several weeks, including Bayern’s next two local matches against Augsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach, as well as his country’s friendlies against Japan and France next September.
Musiala has established himself as a mainstay for Bayern and De Manschaft in recent seasons, with the attacking midfielder scoring 12 goals and assisting with 13 decisive goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances he has played in 2022. -2023.
Musiala also appeared at the World Cup in Qatar last year, despite being disappointed with Germany’s exit from the group stage, and played 23 international matches and scored one goal.
And Bayern kicked off the campaign to defend their German league title with a 4–0 victory at Werder Bremen.
