According to sporting director Christoph Freund, Bayern have already started planning their activities in the transfer market in the upcoming January window.
“We are in daily contact and the quality is high,” Freund said.
“We are discussing January and what we can still improve and we will find the right solutions.”
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano says the Bundesliga champions are considering potential defensive midfield options as well as candidates for a centre-back.
In the summer, Bayern parted ways with defender Benjamin Pavard, who moved to Inter Milan, and midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who now plays for Liverpool. They have reportedly been pursuing versatile Chelsea defender Trevo Chalobah as well as Fulham defensive midfielder Joao Palinha among the proposed targets.
Meanwhile, Bayern signed striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, agreeing to pay €100 million for the England captain’s services, and Kane has already begun to prove that he is a good investment – he has eight goals and four assists in just seven matches which he played for England. The Bavarians are in all competitions so far.
