Hours before the summer transfer market closes, Barcelona have announced the loan signing of Portuguese player Joao Cancelo, a Manchester City player.
And this morning, President Joan Laporta and Deco, the new sporting director of the Catalan club, officially promoted the player and held his first training session with the team ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Osasuna.
On the other hand, Barça are preparing for a meeting with Osasuna in the fourth round of the Spanish championship. Blaugrana are fourth in the La Liga table with 7 points.
Joao Cancelo’s comment on Barcelona move
The Portuguese expressed the joy of moving to Barça, noting that it was a dream come true: – Barcelona has always been my dream club, all my favorite players played here. The idea of the game suits me completely, this is the best club that plays football.”
