FC Barcelona solidified its lead in the Spanish Football League by beating host Girona with an unanswered goal on Saturday in the 19th stage of the competition.
Barcelona owes this victory to midfielder Pedri, who scored the only goal of the match in the 61st minute.

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele was injured in the match.
The Frenchman fell on the field without anyone’s intervention, in the 25th minute, and could not complete the match, so Pedri came on instead.
With this win, Barcelona lifted their tally to 47 points and topped the league, six points clear of defending champions Real Madrid, who will face Real Sociedad tomorrow.
On the other hand, Girona froze at 21 points, finishing in 12th place.
