Arsenal assistant manager slapped

A member of the Arsenal coaching staff was attacked during the Garners’ last-minute win at Villa Park over Aston Villa 4-2 on Matchday 24 of the English Premier League.

According to The Sun, Miguel Molina, who works as an analyst for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s assistant, was slapped by Aston Villa technical staff member Victor Manas.

And the publication added that Molina left the Arsenal locker room with a large red mark on his face after he was hit by the Spaniard Manas, who previously worked with the Gunners as an assistant to current Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery.

And The Sun added that Manas clashed with Molina over his exaggerated celebration after Arsenal scored two goals in stoppage time and the two exchanged angry insults in Spanish.

Eventually, Molina provoked a fight by sending sarcastic kisses to his opponent, who continued to shout loudly, and they clashed again in the players’ tunnel just after the final whistle before going their separate ways.
