The European Football Association (UEFA) has revealed the identity of the best player in the Anger Derby between Milan and Inter, which took place on Wednesday at the San Siro Stadium as part of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
The Nerazzurri snatched a valuable win from the Rossoneri stronghold with two clean goals from Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to take a step forward in the final.
According to the official website of the Champions League, Mkhitaryan was chosen man of the match due to his big role in Inter’s victory in the derby.

The EU Technical Committee said about the choice of the Armenian player: “He not only scored, but also excelled in midfield. He played great with Chalhan Oglu in defense and pressing.
“His transmission was incredibly accurate and his reading of the game was superb,” she added.
Notably, the second leg will take place at Inter’s stronghold Giuseppe Meazza next Tuesday to determine qualification for the final.
