Members of the technical teams of Arsenal and Aston Villa were accused by the Football Association of an altercation during their Premier League game last month.

The Gunners made a remarkable 4-2 comeback at Villa Park on February 18, recording a dramatic own goal courtesy of their former goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

This came after earlier goals from Bukayo Saka and Oleksandr Zinchenko helped draw the visitors, with Gabriel Martinelli adding a fourth goal in injury time.

The celebrations were marred by a clash between Villa’s head of performance analysis, Victor Manas, and Arsenal’s technical analyst Miguel Molina, and have now been charged by the FA.

Aston Villa head of performance analysis Victor Manas and Arsenal technical analyst coach Miguel Molina were charged following their Premier League game on Wednesday 18 February.

“It is alleged that the behavior and/or language of Miguel Molina at the 94th minute was unacceptable and/or abusive and/or abusive, and that his behavior in the tunnel after the final whistle was also unacceptable.”

Manas and Molina have until Friday to respond to the FA.
