Saudi club Al-Nasr have made the surprise decision to sign Croatian star Luka Modric, a Real Madrid player, for the upcoming summer transfers in a bid to greatly bolster the team’s ranks.
The Saudi club is eager to sign stars of a unique caliber, especially after a two and a half year deal with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Several reports have indicated that Al-Nasr is looking to sign Luka Modric next summer, especially with his Real Madrid contract ending in summer 2023 approaching.
Surprise Al-Nasr Al-Saudi Decision Regarding Modric Contract
According to journalist Rudy Galletti, the international club is currently looking for a contract with Modric.
The source stressed that at the end of this month he is expected to meet in Riyadh with representatives of the Croatian star.
The journalist confirmed that representatives of Al-Nasr, led by Musli Al-Muammar, will explain the offer in Riyadh in detail to the player in order to conclude a contract with him.

And Allen Horvath, a former Al-Nasr coach, said in statements to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya that Luka was close to signing a contract with Saudi Al-Nasr.
And he continued: “The Croatian star asked about Saudi football, especially Al-Nasr, in the last period, and 70% of it will happen.”
He concluded: “The Real Madrid midfielder has a good relationship with Vucevic, the world sporting director.”
Bellingham close to Modric leaving Real Madrid
According to Spanish reports, Real Madrid will have to leave one of the team’s midfield stars, be it Modric, Toni Kroos or Dani Ceballos, if he completes his contract with Borussia Dortmund’s English star Judd Bellingham.
Real Madrid, led by Florentino Perez, are entering the race to sign Bellingham with Manchester City and Liverpool.
