    Al-Hilal star wins AFC Champions League trophy ahead of Al-Duhail clash

    One of Saudi Al Hilal’s players was awarded an AFC Champions League award before facing Qatari side Al Duhail in the AFC Champions League semi-finals.

    The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced that Hamad Al-Yami Sahib (23), a player from Al-Hilal, has been named the best young player in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals.

    Al-Ittihad indicated that Al-Yami performed at a brilliant level as he was the most outstanding player of his age in the quarter-finals, in addition to his contribution to the blue leader’s advance to the semi-finals.

    It is noteworthy that the young player played with Al-Hilal in front of the Iranian Khuzestan Steel, mainly due to Saud Abdul Hamid’s incomplete fitness, which Ramon Diaz could push him into the squad.
