    Al-Hilal issues official statement on Messi contract signing

    Officials from Al Hilal’s first team football club have denied the widespread news of the signing of Argentine star Lionel Messi, striker for Paris Saint-Germain, during next summer’s Mercato.

    There have been rumors lately that the Saudi Arabian leader wanted to turn on former Barcelona striker Leo for 400 million euros a year.

    According to Spanish press reports, Al-Hilal’s management denied that there were any negotiations between the club and Leo.

    Some other reports have indicated that negotiations are underway between the club and the player’s father, but the club is currently reluctant to disclose them.

    The leader wants to bolster his ranks over the next summer Mercato with strong deals, and on top of those deals Busquets and Jordi Alba, Barcelona players.
