Debate continues over Romelu Lukaku’s future at Chelsea and the imminent departure from the Blues during this summer’s Mercato in light of a huge offer from Al Hilal.
The Belgian footballer’s name has been associated with a move to Juventus after he came close to joining Inter Milan in a final sale deal.
Lukaku appeared on loan from Chelsea with Inter Milan in 37 matches in the 2022–2023 season in various competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 7 assists.

Al-Hilal close to annexing Lukaku
Reports indicated that Inter Milan cut off contact with Lukaku after he was accused of high treason after choosing to join Italy’s Juventus.
In his context, negotiations between the senior Riyadh and Fulham over a contract with Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic bogged down, despite the fact that he told his family that he would no longer play for the English club.
