The Saudi Al-Ahly administration is keen to secure lucrative deals during the summer transfer season after the team managed to get promoted to the Roshen Pro League after winning the Yellow League last season.
Al Raqi has been associated with the inclusion of many players whose names shone in the sky of European football, in addition to the team’s association with José Mourinho’s contract as Al Raqi’s technical director, succeeding South African Pizo Mosimane.
And Al Raqi became the owner of a Saudi investment fund along with major Saudi clubs, which made him the owner of huge sums of money that allowed him to make international deals worthy of the ambitions of the team’s fans.
Modric agrees to Al Ahly’s offer
According to journalist Aaron Dominguez, Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric agreed to Al Ahli’s offer.
He added that the Croatian star had begun to feel underappreciated by Real Madrid officials, which made him change his mind and agree to join Al Raqa during the summer transfer period.
Luka Modric’s contract with the Royal Club expires at the end of June, which gives him the right to move to any club for free.
Al Raqa’s offer to include Luka Modric has reached 200 million for one season and the contract is two seasons long, but that’s not the only offer as Al Nasr and Al Ittihad are also struggling to include the Croatian player.
