Jeddah club Al Ahly recently entered into talks with friend Messi to sign him during the current summer transfer market.
The recently returned Roshen was able to secure some high-profile deals during the last period of the summer transfer market in the 2023 season, the most notable being Edouard Mendy, Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez and Frank Casey.
And Al-Ahly is still looking for other deals to strengthen the ranks of the team to get back in contention for the Roshan League title after returning from the Elo League.
