Al-Hilal Al-Hilal player Yasser Al-Shahrani returned to the leaderboard for the first time, as he was seriously injured as part of his country’s national team in the Qatar 2022 World Cup final.
Al-Hilal Club have unveiled their list of players who will compete in the 16th round of the AFC Champions League 2022, and it includes the name of Yasser Al-Shahrani, who is 30 years old.

Al-Shahrani underwent remedial gymnastics last Wednesday as part of a recovery phase after undergoing two surgeries on his stomach and face after a violent collision with fellow goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais during a match between the Saudi national team and his Argentine counterpart. at the start of his career at the World Cup, and ended with a historic victory for Al-Akhdar over the world champion Tango with two goals in one goal.
Al-Shahrani missed Al-Akhdar’s formation against Poland and Mexico, as well as Al-Hilal’s matches in local competitions and the Club World Cup in Morocco in early February, before returning to the team’s roster again.
Tomorrow, Monday, Al-Hilal Club will host Al-Ahly, the Emirates Youth Team, in Matchday 16 of the AFC Champions League at Al-Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakr, Qatar.
