AC Milan’s Season Comes to a Close without Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported today, Monday, that veteran Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s season has ended at AC Milan this season after he suffered a new injury.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, during the warm-up, participated for several minutes during his match against his guest Lecce (2:0) last night, Sunday, in the 31st round of the league, but could not perform the exercises and returned to the bench due to injury.

The newspaper Corriere della Sera indicated that Zlatan did not have a relapse at the site of the previous injury, but he received a new shin injury.

“It’s dangerous for the Swede,” the newspaper added, noting that “his season at the Rossoneri is already over.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (41) has suffered a lot of injuries lately after being out last season until February due to knee surgery and also had muscle problems at the end of March last year.

After defeating Lecce, Milan have raised their score to 56 points and are fifth in the Calcio standings.
