European Player of the Year 2023 Winner Revealed
Norwegian star Erling Haaland, striker for Manchester City, won the European Player of the Year award last season, beating out teammate Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne and Argentine star Lionel Messi from France’s Paris Saints. -Germain at Inter Miami.
European Coach of the Year 2023 Award:
Spaniard Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, received the award of the best coach in Europe 2023.
Guardiola took charge of the Manchester City team that controlled local and continental titles in 2023, most notably the European Champions League, for the first time in the history of an English team.
The Spanish ‘philosopher of football’ has surpassed Italian duo Simone Inzaghi, the Inter Milan manager who took his side to the Champions League final for the first time since 2010 before losing by a single goal to Manchester City.
And Luciano Spalletti, who led Napoli to the Italian league title last season for the first time in the 21st century.

UEFA Women’s Player of the Year 2023:
Spaniard Aitana Bonamati became the best player in Europe in 2023, defeating compatriot Olga Carmona.
Bonamati captured Barcelona with the Women’s Champions League title after defeating Wolfsburg of Germany (3–2), and also won the Women’s World Cup title with her country for the first time in history.

Award “Best Coach in Europe 2023”:
The award for the best coach in Europe was given to Dutch coach Sarina Wegman, coach of the England women’s football team.
Sarina Wegman led the England women’s team to the 2023 World Cup final in Australia and New Zealand but lost in the final to Spain by a single goal.
